Role and Responsibilities:
- The Video Editor is responsible for creating Brut. style video content by bringing the Script to life, via assembling raw footage and other audio and graphic elements as per Script (TCs and references).
- This role requires proficiency in video editing software, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members including Producers, Scriptwriters and Motion graphic artists.
- Maintain and organize files and archives of video assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future projects.
- Meet upload deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 2-4 years in creative video editing
- Video editing experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience in Short Form Videos and Reel Edits
- Deep understanding of editorial & branding
- Good grasp of digital video script structure
- Ability to unlearn & learn to meet Brut’s high standards of video editing
- Editing content to deliver exceptional quality of videos
- Understanding of basic 3 Camera interview shooting formats
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Conversant with social media best practices
