About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented person to join the Brut India team. In this role, you will help publish content, keep track of trending news and conversations, support research, and ensure our videos meet editorial and platform standards.
Key Responsibilities
Research, pitch, and translate story ideas when required.
Resolve copyright-related issues on social media platforms.
Maintain and organise the archive of videos and visual assets.
Manage and publish content across Brut India and Brut Hindi's social media platforms.
Upload stories on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Edit short-form videos and Reels.
Stay updated on news, social media trends, and audience conversations.
Monitor comments, feedback, and engagement to help improve content performance.
Help create and organise visual content for stories.
What We're Looking For
1–3 years of experience in social media, digital media, or content publishing.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and current online trends.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Passion for storytelling and creating engaging digital content.
Basic video editing skills, especially for short-form content.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi (translation skills are a plus).
Comfortable working with data and engagement metrics to improve content performance.
Experience in a digital newsroom or media organisation is an advantage.
