Role and Responsibilities:

Pitch and produce compelling stories for a social-first audience
Write sharp, engaging video scripts under tight deadlines
Research deeply and identify the most powerful visuals
Shoot videos when required
Appear on camera for face-led videos and voiceovers
Interview newsmakers and subjects relevant to young audiences
Adapt and translate stories with strong editorial judgment
Ensure accuracy through rigorous fact-checking and verification
Stay on top of social media trends and storytelling formats

Requirement:

1–3 years of experience in journalism or digital media
Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication (preferred)
Strong command of written and spoken English
Comfortable being on camera
Solid understanding of Indian politics, culture, and current affairs
Proven ability to deliver video scripts on deadline
Sharp editorial instincts and attention to detail
Understanding of ethical digital journalism practices
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
A team player who thrives in fast-paced, internet-driven environments
Self-starter with a strong passion for visual storytelling
